My partner Bailey Haack and I designed and fabricated two 11 ft entrance portals with integrated backlit signage for “Solo Bueno” festival areas on the fly, with limited resources and time. These portals were inspired by the tropical Bird of Paradise and Heliconia flowers found on site, and created with bamboo, plywood, fabric, LED strips and a bit of paint.
