Spent a day in the desert helping my good friend build a helix-array bamboo climbing structure using traditional bamboo lashings and binder sticks, no screws!

I designed and built a bunny house that doubles as a bench using entirely reclaimed materials. The top pops open for easy access + cleaning, and a small door allows the bun to roam free when desired :)

My partner and I repurposed a large pallet to create a viewing platform for an incredible rope swing over a pond. We leveled the ground, installed the deck, added support bracing, sanded and refinished the top and then added decorative branch detailing on the side. An epic swing deserves an epic deck!

I designed, built and rigged two identical hanging bamboo lanterns for a treehouse using hand-hewn bamboo splits.

While my team created new sculptural elements to add onto the existing sculpture garden environment, I focused on building two hexagonal seating nooks using 2x4s, plywood and harvested pallet wood.
